Do you welcome the changes that have been made in response to public consultation feedback?
Following comments from the local community and a change in policy from Wiltshire Council, the requirement to provide a new primary school on Elm Grove recreation ground has now been removed from the plans. Do you welcome this?
Elm Grove recreation ground will be retained and enhanced, with improved drainage making it suitable for use all year round. This will form part of a much larger area of public open space, including junior playing fields (required by policy), allotments, and informal landscape buffers and ecology corridors. Do you welcome this?
A new community hub will be provided, with changing facilities for the new playing fields. This will also have the potential to be available for community hire for meetings and smaller-scale community events, as well as use as a polling station. Is this something you would welcome?
Wiltshire Council policy for the site requires us to provide a spine road through the development. In response to public feedback, we have designed this road as a 20mph road with infrastructure to control vehicle speeds and make it unsuitable for us as a cut-through. Do you welcome this?
The development will deliver c250-280 new homes, including affordable housing and homes available for first-time buyers through the Help to Buy scheme. Do you welcome this?
